Underflow’s accounting record begins with policy activity. A bind and every premium-bearing endorsement, cancellation, or reversal create immutable premium-ledger rows. Those rows produce receivables or credits and feed carrier reporting.

Invoices and dunning

See how receivables are delivered, aged, chased, and escalated.

Payments and reconciliation

Record and allocate receipts, then match the register to the bank.

Bordereaux and carrier settlements

Review the monthly carrier report, attest it, and record remittance.

Trust and disbursements

Read the trust position, move funds, and control money-out records.

Statements and reports

Freeze agency statements and export earnings, GL, and tax workpapers.

From policy to ledger

The accounting history points back to the policy event that created it.

The register

Accounting is one screen with tabs for Receivables, Payments, Settlements, Agencies, Trust, Reconciliation, Ledger, Filings, State filings, State rules, and Reports. Together they answer:
  1. What is currently owed?
  2. What money has arrived or left?
  3. Does the register agree with the bank?
  4. Which statements, filings, and reports need review?

Permissions

Any member can record and allocate money received and prepare a draft disbursement. Admins and owners have the finance permission that lets them approve or record money out. The product does not require the drafter and approver to be different people.
