Desk
Decisions holds moments and approvals waiting on a person. Active files shows work moving now. Waiting shows files blocked on someone else. Done today and the action log make Aurora’s work visible without forcing you to open every file. The calendar beside the work list is forward-looking: quotes and policies coming due, and the reminders Aurora has set herself, one day at a time. The badge on the Desk icon counts work that needs you, not every unread event in the system.Email notifications
New team questions, takeover requests, held urgent actions, and execution failures are emailed to active desk members when they arise. Other open moments roll into the morning briefing, sent when the workspace clock reaches 7:00 AM unless the desk is quiet. There is no member-level notification toggle in the current Settings screen.Book
The Book is the record of submissions and policies. A file holds the insured, agency, and producer, the application answers with their sources, open gaps, the risk assessment and coverage suggestions, correspondence, quotes, policy transactions, documents, invoices, and activity history. Files normally open from inbound producer mail. Search finds mail, files, policies, agencies, and producers.Distribution
Distribution is the agency and producer register. Each agency dossier carries contacts, licensing, E&O, W-9 details, appointments, commission terms, statements, and the business it has placed.Accounting
Accounting holds receivables, payments, carrier settlements, agency statements, trust activity, bank reconciliation, the premium ledger, filings, state rules, and reports. See the Accounting overview for the registers and exports. The Aurora rail
The rail opens beside any view and is anchored to what you are looking at. On a file it is the file’s thread. On a mail thread it is that thread. Anywhere else it is a plain conversation. The chip above the composer names the anchor and lets you step off it, or back onto the page’s subject. A file’s thread is the file’s story. Everything Aurora did on the file lands there: the mail she read, each turn she took and what woke it, the reminders she set, and your conversation with her. Aurora answers with more than prose: references to files and threads, tables from the record, held actions you can approve in place, drafts, and links that open the right sheet. Use the Aurora orb or Command/Ctrl-Shift-A to open the rail. The global search box also accepts a question as well as a destination; its first result sends the text to Aurora. The workbench updates as Aurora works. Moments, approvals, turns, thread activity, and application changes appear without a refresh.Recommended workflow
