Certificates of insurance

Open the file’s Policies section and select Issue certificate on a Bound or Issued policy. Enter the certificate holder name, with an optional address and description of operations. Underflow fills the official ACORD 25 form from the policy and flattens the PDF so the issued copy cannot be edited. Each certificate receives a per-policy sequence and remains in the policy’s certificate register. Issuing another certificate, including one for the same holder, creates a new sequence and preserves the earlier copy.
A certificate reports the stored policy terms but does not amend coverage. The current screen allows certificates on Bound as well as Issued policies. Use an endorsement when requested language changes the contract.

Claims

Open the file’s Claims section and select Report a claim. Choose the policy when the file has more than one, then enter the loss date, description, and optional claimant. A new claim starts at FNOL. From FNOL or Open, use Financials to set reserve and paid-to-date amounts. Enter 0 to clear a value; a blank field leaves it unchanged. Close or deny the claim with an optional explanation. A Closed or Denied claim can be reopened, which returns it to Open and keeps its current reserve and paid-to-date values. Financial edits replace those values; the claim screen does not show a change history. The current claim record has no attachment, adjuster, carrier, or notes workflow. The loss date, claimant, and description cannot be edited after creation.

Loss runs

A loss run is generated for the file’s first insured across every policy and submission linked to that insured. It lists each loss and its current financial position. If no claims are recorded, Underflow produces a no-loss letter instead. Use Loss run for a stored PDF or CSV for a direct download. The PDF is stored as a tenant document with insured metadata, but it is not currently linked back into the file’s document register. There is no date-range or policy filter.
